Meet in Paris French Bistro is a full-service French restaurant tucked into Culver City’s bustling Culver Boulevard. Its vibe strikes a balance between casual bistro and neighborhood gathering spot, making it a comfortable choice whether you’re stopping in for a solo lunch, a relaxed dinner with friends, or catching their lively happy hour.

The atmosphere mixes cozy indoor seating with a pleasant outdoor patio area that spills onto the street, often accompanied by nearby street musicians adding a subtle soundtrack. Tables inside tend to be on the smaller side, which encourages ordering thoughtfully so you have enough room for all the dishes you want to try.

As a spot known for classic French fare, Meet in Paris offers a selection that includes standout items like French Onion Soup with a well-balanced broth, escargot, and a variety of mussel preparations — something notable given how rare mussels are on LA menus. Steak Frite and charcuterie boards round out the offerings, with desserts such as a modestly sweet chocolate treat and apple tarte tatin providing a pleasant finish. The fresh sourdough bread served here is a nice touch that complements meals well.

Happy hour is widely appreciated by locals and regulars, with a variety of sharable plates and well-crafted spritz cocktails served from 3 to 6:30 PM. The steak tartare and seafood dishes like crab cakes and tuna tartare are often cited as favorites during these times. If you prefer a BYOB option, Thursday evenings accommodate that preference, providing another way to enjoy the menu without worrying about wine prices, which some find a bit steep.

Service can vary depending on how busy the restaurant is, but staff generally strive to be professional and accommodating, contributing to the relaxed, friendly environment. The mix of regulars and newcomers, combined with live outdoor jazz on occasion, gives this bistro a neighborhood feel that's both lively and approachable.

Meet in Paris suits those looking for a laid-back French dining experience outside of LA’s traditional French quarters — ideal for weekend meals, casual dinners with a French twist, or a sunny afternoon happy hour where the food is solid and the vibe is welcoming without pretension.

This is a nice spot in Culver for some French style food. $26 for the bento was a good deal. Seafood risotto, soup, fruits and dessert. $32 for steak and fries was decent. Most notable is the Happy Hour at 3-6:30pm. Lots of great offerings. There was one gentleman serving everyone at 4pm. He tried his best to accommodate, I just helped myself a few times to get my service.

Meet in Paris. Stay for the food. Literally, one of the best happy hours in downtown Culver (3-6:30 PM). I have been coming here for 12 years, and it never disappoints. We ordered almost everything off the happy hour menu, out of pure joy. My favorite was the steak tartare!

I've always enjoyed the wide array of how mussels are served here. Its uncommon to see them at all in LA. This restaurant also has a great chocolate dessert that isn't too sweet. The tables are pretty tiny, so try to space out your food orders so you actually have room. The outdoor sitting area along the street is very pleasant, and there are often street musicians playing. The service is also good.

Updating because came on a busy Friday night and had Better service and crab cakes & tuna tartare was great as was the rosé and freshly baked sourdough and butter. Seems servers might be hit or miss but last nights was a hit Nice place but Wine is overpriced and overrated. Thursday option is good byob. Mussels are good as is the ratatouille. Calamari nothing exciting but not bad. Jazz outside is a nice touch. Service is hit or miss - it’s friendly but once they’re even slightly busy you feel neglected with no wine or water refills and had to ask multiple times for a check. Overall 3.5

Alright! Been here enough times now to write a review. I will start this off with. The staff is awesome. VERY helpful, professional and always tentative. Plenty of outdoor and in door seating. This place is such a gem. And I'm so glad it's here. I've had many things on the menu here. But I will write about my favorites. French onion soup. The broth isn't overly salty like some places. The onions are perfectly caramelized. The bread and cheese is perfectly placed and melted. If you like French onion soup. I HIGHLY recommend theirs. It's absolutely delicious! Lobster ravioli. Although this dish is rather small. It only includes 3 "larger" ravioli's but it is an excellent dish. The pink sauce is made right. Topped with cheese and grilled asparagus cut into smaller pieces. You can't go wrong with this one. Escargot. Perfectly made with herbs and lots butter. What's not to like about this? If you want food escargot they do it right here. Mussels with lobster sauce. The sauce is rich. Mussels are fresh tasting. Display is excellent. The ambiance of this place depends on the time of day you go. Weekdays are usually my go to for dinner. As these days are a little more calm and relaxed. Atmosphere is great. No loud noise perfect setting to actually have a clear conversation. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely. If you love French onion soup get it. You will not be disappointed. And their selections on sauces for their mussels is amazing. Thank you to the staff for always taking care of me and my groups. Looking forward to the next visit Decor: New modern clean. Staff: no issues they always make it right. Food: above average Bathrooms: N/A haven't used them yet. Will update when that time comes.
